The wheels are always the start of your drawing, that tell you the right position where other parts you should put in your the paper. Like the previous works, i use 2B pencil delineate the window and door.
Then, i extend one line from the top of window to the right side of rear and repeat the step, i draw another line to the left side of rear, and i now have got a rear screen area. And the effect of those two lines is to tell the rough position, where i am going to draw the rear in.
Once you get the outline of your drawing, then you may start put lights, air exhausts, spokes of wheels, air intakes, etc. The photo as shown above, shows i am filling the with dark color, that indicates this is the centre of a wheel and brings the drawing great visual effect.
Because the light is from right side, the front of car is more light than the rear( as we see the wheels, it is clear that. the color of front wheel is not as deep as the rear one).
Shadow is the best way to give three-dimensional effect and it contains much information. It can tell you where light comes in, it can tell you, what layer is the bottom of car and what layer is the ground. It can also tell you how wide the tires are approximately(the width is usually depend on the classes of car and sporty cars commonly have wide tires.).
The rest of work is then to complete the detail. In my design, the rear light is not like the normal one. It is made of LED,so it does not need a lot complex parts assemble together.
Due to the direction of source of light, some area should be filled in with dark color.
The End.
